As compared to some other generic online training I was doing for Reason 5 the Point Blank DVR and webpage method was WAY better because we were talking about dance music the whole time and learning things we would actually use, like how to make bass sound good, instead of just a list of software features."

Claude runs the Dirty Bird and Mothership record labels. He has released a raft of critically acclaimed releases including ‘Who’s Afraid of Detroit’ – one of the biggest underground club hits of the last decade.

After taking the Minimal Techno, Mixing Dance Music and Deep & Soulful House courses, Detboi saw his crazy brand of tropical flavoured, bass-heavy rave skyrocket to releases on massive labels including Skint, Surface Noise and Herve's Cheap Thrills. Despite his success, Detboi continues to enrol on Point Blank's courses and expand his diverse knowledge of dance music production.

Tomoki Tamura has built Holic into a one of London’s essential clubbing experiences since its 2007 launch. In 2008 he released his debut EP Tomoki&Nono - Voices / 3 years (Four:Twenty) which hit No 1 on the Beatport deep house chart. Since then Satoshi Tomiie has signed 2 of his tracks including 'Lark' which was included in Tomiie's acclaimed 3D(Renaissance) compilation mix. Read our interview with him here

His track "Roma" was remixed by Anil Chawla and recently featured on DJ magazine's covermount CD.

"I am always looking for new tricks to make my designs fresh and I am also a bit of a tech-head so I am curious to try new things. The Point Blank courses definitely put me way outside my comfort zone... and thats a good thing!" Paula is an award winning Sound Designer. She works on the TV Show LOST and Hollywood movies including Sin City, Lucky Number Slevin and Tropic Thunder.

Ann Hairston is a NYC multi-instrumentalist, producer,remixer and DJ. "I just want to say this whole experience was AMAZING! Everything is presented and explained so well. Great job!" Ann has toured with STOMP, Luscious Jackson, N'dea Davenport and Macy Gray. Recording under the name Annex she has released tracks on Francois K’s label “Wave Music”, Slanted Black Records,SoundGroove Records, Coraza Recordings and KULT Records
